Well here we are back in good old 2009,speaking of which why did you ask me to come here…you do know we can go anywhere in space and time?
Thanks for everything Doctor, really it’s been so good, I mean it’s been so amazing but I think I’ve got to leave you.
Tiffany
Why?
I’m 21 years old, I’ve been travelling with the Doctor for so long, I’ve loved every second of it, but I’ve been travelling for 2 years now and I just feel if I don’t go now I never will, I’ll die in the Tardis and as lovely as it is Doctor …I just can’t do it….I’m sorry Doctor….goodbye
Doctor
Goodbye Tyler, it’s been wonderful travelling with you
Tiffany

[Outside – Night time – destroyed

Oh my…..DOCTOR!!!
[Banging on the Tardis doors]

[Doctor steps out]

this can’t be happening! No! not now! No no!
[runs back in]
Doctor
we’re in the right time, the right Universe…This can’t be
[Furiously banging on the controls]
Doctor
Theres a trail…I can see it…but it doesn’t make any sense, I mean look…..there
[Flashing red lights on screen]
Tiffany
What are they?
Doctor
Timeline incursions, points in time where the timeline has skewered off at an angle creating a parallel timeline.
Tyler
Like Back to the future 2
Doctor
Yes, Sort of but the thing is I think we caused it……
Tiffany
I remember, in back to the future they change the time line by giving a book to the guy in the past?
Doctor
That’s right, and we’re in a similar situation, something we’ve done, in the past, when we’ve been travelling has changed the present….I mean the future….now…..this never used to happen when the Timelords were in charge, used to keep things in check
Tyler
How do we fix it?
Doctor
We have to follow the trail, back through time in the order these incursions are flagging and find the problem and fix it without flagging anything else, Tyler I’m afraid your departure will have to wait…I can’t risk leaving you alone here.
Doctor
Now, give me a minute and I need to find something……
[Doctor leaves]
[Doctor returns with 4 flashing beacons]
Tiffany
What are they?
Doctor
Time trackers, We leave these everywhere we go, then I can check that the timeline is restored.
Won’t leaving things behind make it worse?
Doctor
these are from the Tardis, they have the perception filter on, no one will even notice them.
[Outside – same Background as before]
[Doctor drops transmitter]
Tiffany
Now, where to Doctor?
Doctor
19….44…..World War II
Tyler
When did we go to World War II?
Doctor
We didn’t. I went there alone before I met you; I was visiting an old friend of mine
so what….we just get in the Tardis and go?
Doctor
Basically, I’ll set the Tardis to home in on the point where the timeline skewered.
Tiffany
How accurate is this?
Doctor
Probably within a few days, no more than a few weeks, and probably within 50miles
Tyler
Right so off we go?
Doctor
Off we go!
[walking back to the Tardis]
